Conflicting Interests ~ Harry Potter One Shot

Everybody had told him it was a bad idea.

She was dark, he was light.
She was a Slytherin, he was a Gryffindor.

They were complete contrasts fighting on opposing sides of the war- each tempting the other to join their respective side, and stubbornly resisting just as much as the other.
They were opposite sides on a magnet, always attracting the other yet never changing their poles.

Everybody told him that he should just give up- that they weren't going to make it.

Well, it had been twelve years since he had first started to prove them wrong, and he was determined to do so for the rest of his life simply because he loved her and he knew that she did so too, in her own crazy way.
