Aurora Holmes, the secret daughter of Irene, was born in the United States, but when Irene die of breast cancer, her life changes completely, when she is only ten years old. There are so many secrets and surprises that she doesn't know. 
She has to deal with her mother's death and deal with the move in England with an unknown man named Mycroft. Aurora has always wondered who her father is, whom she does not know, but ends up meeting him, who turns out to be the famous detective Sherlock Holmes.

How will Aurora deal with this? How will Sherlock face the knowledge that he had a daughter whom he did not know?

Kat, the daughter of Consulting Detective, Sherlock Holmes, and Forensic Pathologist, Molly Hooper, helps her father on many of his cases. It's the only time that her and Sherlock really connect. But, that all changes when a loved one dies because of their relation to Holmes. Sherlock doesn't want the same thing to happen to his daughter, so he sends her away to live with John and Mary Watson while he works on one of his toughest cases yet.
