Emily Williams, 21 years old. A precocious girl, who had to leave college half way to support her family, is a cheerful young lady, despite her given circumstances. Everyday, she would wake up and cheer herself up while looking in the mirror.
"Yes, you got this!"
And everyday, she would come back home without a job...
Well, honestly, now in this very and very competitive world, how can one get a permanent job easily with only high school qualifications? But she decided not to give up.
After diligently searching for a decent job for what seemed like ages, she was finally given an internship at a famous entertainment company.
But that 'internship' wasn't anything like she had imagined it to be...
She.. was back at square one. Because of that 'job' of hers... because of that 'need' of hers...
Amidst all this.. there, she met him. For the first time.
Asher Brown. Future singing star.
Both of them, unable to stand each other's personality, never realised what life had in the store for them.
Asher, unknowingly, broke the walls that Emily had built around herself.
... ...
"If I get back at him with this stupid idea of yours all right, then, you will stop black mailing me. Agreed?" Emily finally gave in.
"Black mailing? Oof! That's harsh!" he smirked, but then added, "Of course!".
"And if you fail to do so, then.." he leaned in closer, such that his lips were ghosting at her exposed shoulder. "Then you will be punished, sweet heart.."
Chills ran down her spine as she pushed him away.
"Of course..." she responded.

"New student, right?" the Principal asked me.
I nodded meekly, hoping that he would turn out to be a patient suffering from short term memory loss and would forget about detention but his next words confirmed how rotten my luck was!
"Mr Spencer, Ms Wilson" he began in an icy calm voice," creating a raucous in the corridors right outside my office isn't exactly a heroic thing to do. Both of you have an option of either a week detention together or a two week detention together."
My eyes shot wide open, "One week detention with him! That's practically impossible for humankind!"
"I don't want to risk my bright IQ by serving detention with this psycho!" I heard Spencer jerk protest.
"You have an IQ???" I looked at him, giving my best shocked expressions, "Is it the joke of the decade or joke of the century???"
"Since you didn't react to my calling you a psycho, it confirms that you are one." he shrugged calmly.
My brain was ready in an instant with a smart answer to that. I opened my mouth to give it back to him---
"STOP."
The headmaster yelled, the pulse in his temple was throbbing red in fury.
"The options are now changed to three week detention or four week detention." he muttered in anger.
