"Joy." He calls out to me. I can feel the way he craves my attention to be drawn on him. So I do exactly the opposite and turn away.
"Joy!" He speaks again this time with much more authority it shook the walls of the room. I stop dead in my tracks and wait for him to speak.
"Turn around love and come back over to me."
Out of defiance again I keep walking hoping to get further but that didn't last long as he speeds right in front of me.
Slowly looking up his body I analyze the long, jagged spikes protruding out his back. I look down at his arm which is such a deep navy color that it almost looks black along with his slender fingers that have pointy, white claws that he gently wrapped around my throat.
I rolled my eyes at his antics sighing soflty. His almost 8 foot frame looks down on me smiling with his just as razor sharp teeth.
"Now why are you trying to leave me Joy? We both know you can't. I can feel your desire for me love. I know you want to stay." He says with playfulness behind his words.

100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. To minimize the threats, the Colonies have sent their best soldiers to oversee the trial and protect its key subjects. If only things were going according to plan, or better...stay hidden. Should she call out or remain silent?
