When Maya and Grace wake up for work it's a normal day. They didn't expect it to be any different than a usual work day. Boy were they wrong. On arriving at work they find a bloody mess and begin realizing that people are turning into unstable killing machines.

Their friend Jon rescues them before they are hurt but they are all horrified as an epidemic unfolds within the perimeter of the campus. How will they survive and what will happen to them and the people they love if anyone can be turned into a mindless killing machine?

How will they escape? Who will lead them in these rising times of peril? What will they face, who will they lose, and how will they keep each other alive? And by alive, they mean alive and themselves. Not moving and killing. Follow along as this rag tag group of teens survive an apocalyptic world that gets worse by the moment.

For any who started "Presences", I decided to combine it with "When August Ends" instead of doing two separate books so it is now a part of this single novel.

Like the Hunger Games series? Then you'll love ''Man Hunt'' When Alice awakes in a small, bare room with nothing more than a letter, a backpack, a change of clothes and some survival gear, she doesn't know what to expect. She has no recollection of how she got to where she is, or even where she is and she can't help but feel frightened about the whole situation. According to the letter addressed to her name, her parents signed her up for a new televised game show in which twelve teenagers will be split into two equal teams. The teenagers will then take part in a slightly modified version of a childhood game they are all quite familiar with for the chance to win a sum of €1,000,000 for every member of the winning team. When Alice meets the rest of her group, they soon realise that they are stranded on an island and they have no other option but to cooperate. They quickly find the instructions and map their team has been supplied with and are forced to begin a game which they fear is darker than it may seem. The twelve teenagers can't be any more different, however they must push their divergence aside and hope that they have what it takes to win the game and return home with the money that could change their lives forever. In a tale of adventure, action and deceit; do Alice and her team have what it takes to leave the island as champions or is there a more sinister fate in store for them? Is this really just a game as their letters describe, or are there darker forces at work behind closed doors?

What do you do with a school full of teenage boys that the only thing they do is give trouble? You send the one girl who can make sure they learn to grow up and teach them some manners. ~*~*~ Rhiannon Martins, a seventeen years old girl, has only been two months in her current school and she's already bored. Snobbish academies, rich schools, and flirty arrogant guys makes her tired. Chatty girls talking about clothes and how rich their daddies are gives her a headache. So when her uncle, the headmaster of an all boys school for delinquents Woodblock, makes a deal with Rhi-which will assure her to study in a more 'exciting' high school- she doesn't hesitate to say "yes". But it appears that the only way Rhi could stay in the school for her last two years as a student, she will have to make sure that all the boys will start to act like grown ups; so when the school starts accepting girls they will be safe. And with her stubborn, 'badass', and surprisingly friendly personality, Rhi is probably the only girl who can do that. A tough mission- especially with a headmaster of an all girls academy who will do anything to see Woodblock high school close down, a vice principal who seems a little too interested in Rhi, and one particular group of boys. Everything becomes even worse when a start of mysterious disappearances of students in the school appears. Rhi is definitely not going to have time to get bored. ~*~*~ Warning; some cursing and violence, a very weird and blunt girl, and a bunch of hot boys.
