Megamishi: Megami to shite 2000-nen-go no sekai o taiken suru

In Greece, a woman who was recognized as a hero during the Tempest War was given an opportunity to be a goddess by the heavenly ones above. Her name is Gaia Genovese. One day, she decided to sleep with a goddesses' husband and was cursed by that goddess by turning her into stone and sealing away her powers. Seeing as how Gaia just recently gotten a hold of her power, she stood no chance against the goddess of magic, Circe. She was then cursed to never being able to move ever again. Her statue was recognized by a traveller and he decided to sell it to a wealthy man from Japan. The wealthy man decided to place the statue on the top of his fountain in front of his house in kyoto which remained for many years to come. It was named by the people as "Yuganakao" because of its elegant and graceful face throughout the centuries.It was then made a tourist spot and was considered a landmark by Japan. 2000 years later. Izumi Chuya, a dull but determined mangaka, catches wind of this place and decides to visit it in order to gain references for his manga. Unexpectedly, no one was around which was the perfect opportunity for him to think peacefully about his manga. He comes into shock when the statue suddenly crumbles before his eyes. A woman with silvery purple hair and blue colored eyes comes out of the statue and proclaims herself as a goddess. How will Chuya's life change from this point on?
