Tori Carrow is the daughter of a Death Eater. After Lord Voldemort's defeat, her father, Amycus Carrow sent her to live with her godmother, Narcissa Malfoy, where she was raised as a Malfoy. Despite having unusual and extremely powerful magic abilities, she is accepted and finds a home with the Malfoys. The only contact she has had with her father is the letter he sent her, the day before her first day at Hogwarts, instructing her on her duty as a Carrow.
However, things don't go as planned, especially when she is Sorted into the "wrong" House. It doesn't take long for Tori to realise that the beliefs her father harbours are increasingly dangerous, both for her, and her new friends.
This story is set during the events of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. However, it is set in modern times (say 2013), so modern technology, such as smartphones, are common.
