The Missing Pieces

Claira has a past wrecked with illness, loss, and wasted time. She won the battle against her illness, now she is left picking up the pieces of what has been left behind. Anxiety and traumatic flashbacks are common occurrences she must learn to live with. Battles within her rage while she one day dreams of just being okay again, even if just for a little while. All that she really has left in this life are her sassy cat and even sassier sick Mother. Claira has had a lot of problems with her mother, but bonding over illness has been their one saving grace the last few years.

One day her very ancient past tries to resurface when she receives a very surprising invite. Back in high school her world revolved around singing in choir, she had almost forgotten all about the joy she felt singing with a group of talented people when an invite for a Choir and Theater Reunion pops up in her mailbox. Claira is not one for parties, actually they repulse her, but with a little persuasion (okay A LOT of persuasion) from her mom, and a good gut feeling she attends the reunion and so starts the first night of her new life.
