Cassandra Hardy was raised by her mother to believe family is everything. Her father spent one night with her mother, probably didn't even know he got her pregnant, and now her mother runs a criminal empire. One that Cassie has helped with, as long as she can remember. But at ten, her life changes when the building her mother works at was bombed and three days later, she still isn't home.
