It is 1147. Louis VII, King of France, begins his march to the Holy Land. The Second Crusade has begun. Hoping to redeem himself in the eyes of his god, Vespasien joins the march, eager to prove himself worthy of knighthood. The march is not without its dangers however. Something unnatural follows the crusade. Plagued by visions from his past, Vespasien doesn't know if he's losing himself to madness or not. What he does know is, if he is to survive, he must first battle his way through angry peasants, vengeful Saracens, and a creature that thirsts for blood.

"I may never see another sunrise," he said, eyes gleaming with something eternal. "But you-my love, you are the warmest light I've ever known." In the glowing shadow of 1910s New Orleans - a city alive with jazz, secrets, and Southern heat - your life was already tangled. Raised in a house of whispers and cruelty, you learned early how to survive without soft things like love. Then there was Louis. The man with sad eyes. The soul that somehow always reached for yours. And then... there was the night everything changed. Now, in a penthouse high above modern-day Dubai, you sit beside him - immortal, beloved, and haunted - finally ready to tell your side of the story. The one where a girl from the pews of Sunday service falls for a man who was never meant to be a monster. The one where love turns eternal... and damnation begins with a kiss. A reimagining inspired by Interview with the Vampire - this is not a love story. It's a confession. A resurrection. A memory that refuses to die. And it begins with a promise: You would never get to see the sun again, so you decided to become it.
