Slowly CloudClan is flaking apart, and each of these cats have something to hide. As Sunpaw and Cinderpaw move closer to their warrior ceremony, the Clans begin to fall apart- caving from constant border fights. Sunpaw knows she can save them, but that would mean revealing who she truly is. 

But can she do that?

Doubt swirls inside her. Anxiety gnaws at her stomach as prey hides away and the Clans become skinny and tired. Then suddenly Sunpaw has a dream- Doveheart telling her that "Snow will bring danger to the Clan." Sunpaw doesn't know what it means, but when a storm hits and the Clans are forced to find different food sources, can she save them from a fate that seems inevitable?

Snowpaw has to figure out what this prophecy means and save the four clans from the destruction of Black Ashes and Golden Wings.

Soon, she runs into the four Clans: CloudClan, HollyClan, BreezeClan, and FlowerClan. She joins CloudClan, determined to start over and make a new life for herself. She doesn't need her mother. She doesn't need anyone but her new family, her Clanmates. On the night of her official welcoming into the Clan, something changes her mind: a prophecy, from the ancestors of her Clanmates. The prophecy states that the "apple will rise." The daughter of the leader, Applefoot, was never friendly with her. Suddenly, a plot seems to be uncovering itself right in front of Sunpaw's eyes.
