The book talks about situations that some of us havent ever or may never go through. It shows that altho its common to our world that people are so called normal, there still is other types of people too. It shows how much society wants us to be the standard but in the same time society forgets most of times that one little fact...we are all human. "I think that in today's world we should assume that the next person is NOT normal. You cant except anything from anyone, its not nice. Expecting something from them, that you in the same situation wouldn't be able to do. Yes you expected and didn't know but that's why you shouldn't assume that they are normal. In today's society you can never say straightly out "I need help" because if you do your never taken seriously. They either think its a joke or shrug it off, worst way is that they label you as an attention seeker. As well is originality impossible, not wanted,a problem. Because people to others who are different are labeled again as mentally ill. I hate people,I hate myself the most. because whatever you do it still comes down to you, your choices. Either to be socially accepted, hide your pain, be brainwashed and be someone whom your not or the other way accept that your different and mentally ill.Although my point isint either that all the fault is on the society and on others mistreating us,to the point where we either commit sins or get hurt. I've met only a few people whom have truly looked into themselves and so addressed and accepted their issues and the way they are. And I can say pretty certainly that most don't survive it. Some are stronger and some are weaker but they will always bear scars and unfortunately will be utterly misunderstood because of them. I think our mistake is that we think that We could never be those within the walls of a prison or an mental hospidal or pleasure out in the streets or sell drugs."-All Rights Reserved
