"I know ok?!" - Izuku screams, he never screams. Shōto flinches and fights the instinct to cover his ears as he stays put with his back against the bedroom door. Fuyumi frowns with the headphones in her hands, ready to place them over his ears, but for once Shōto wants to know. "He's not special! He's just-" - the sentence stops, Inko warns him to stop as it often happens and somehow Shōto wishes Izuku wouldn't stop. He needs to hear it, he needs someone to say that word. "I'm your son, you birthed me, and still I'm never a priority..." - Izuku says and his voice breaks. It's quieter this time. Shōto opens the door and takes a tentative step outside, not really knowing why: maybe to confront Inko, or maybe to comfort Izuku. The entrance door slams and he's faced with only Inko. She looks at him with so much guilt she might as well just have killed a man. "I'm sorry..." - she says and Shōto doesn't understand what she's actually sorry about. ~ To sum it up: Tōya decided to run away from his abusive household with his sibling. Endeavour face a trial for child abuse that lead to his immediate hero career decline and incarceration. While Tōya manages to run away with Natsuo, Fuyumi and Shōto end up in a foster home. After a tragic event at home Todoroki goes into hiding. Two years later, people go missing only to find their dead bodies not long after. Talk of a new villain circles the city. After months of these disappearance no body leaves the safety of their room at night anymore to avoid being caught. --------- Izuku Midoriya got carried away at work and didn't realize how late it had gotten. With no other choice he had to take the long walk home, in the dark of night. No one else was out too afraid to be caught. When Midoriya heard footsteps behind him he quickly turned to see a man around he's age standing behind him with his hands in his pockets and he look just as startled to see anyone as Midoriya was.
