Wrong. Luna was a tribrid, 1/3 vampire, 1/3 werewolf and 1/3 witch. Each side as strong as the other.
Josh and Leah were confused by this but the loved her just the same. With being a wolf, Josh taught her about the wolf religion and beliefs, and Leah taught her the witch beliefs and the different kinds of magic.
Warnings aside. Luna spent the first 6 years of her life, learning magic and about her wolf and turning. Knowing one day she will have to turn for herself.
On Lunas 7th birthday they took her out for A hunting trip, didn't end well, they came upon the Niven coven... a coven of banshees.
Banshees are creatures that use their voice as a weapon, they're strong, stronger than any other super natural. Apart from Luna.
But Luna was too young to help, she had no control of any part of herself just yet. The coven took out Leah and Josh. Left poor Luna all alone...
