He breathed out a little laugh, "I like you." His voice was quiet and simple.

I couldn't react any slower, "You do?" I had stepped closer then I remembered, and placed myself back to my ground before he could answer.
"But you don't remember me. Nothing, at all about me. Gosh, why?"

I whispered the previous question to myself, he may have heard as I noticed him try to reach out before he pulled away too. My heart pounding like I might faint, and I just might. This is enough.

"I've said everything I know about you, about us. You deny-having your own life even when I told you that you disappeared from me and I know you know that it's true. Don't bother remembering, I'm tired of everything about you. I wish I never knew you or had any memory of that face." I'm tired of your Goddamn face; wish I could say that to you, but what's the point in hurting someone back, as if it would help with the after feeling that you love-loved them.

Esca White and Sonny Harris are best friends and the world knows it. They are very uneasy with the newfound love they have for each other, in which everyone sees it but what do they do? Join the adventure of how they may destroy or build upon their bond. Fate brings them together but life has different tragic plans in store. Will fate win these two over or will life continue to be oblivious to their love?

Highest rank #27 in Teen Fiction. Written by @apricitys. _ _ _ "What is this?" He asked, not even bothering to look at the canvas in front of me. Instead, his eyes were locked in mine. I swallowed my saliva, chills running down my spine. I felt my palms getting sweaty as my legs nervously started bouncing up and down. Without giving me time to answer, he took a step closer to me, eyes still locked in mine. Each time he inched closer, I used my right foot to slowly push myself and the stool back. It seemed to be the only option to get away from him; until he forced his hands below the sides of my thighs, holding the stool in place. He released a soft chuckle as he eyed me from my eyes, down to my lips. "You're beautiful," he said. From his voice, I couldn't tell if he was being serious, or messing around. It sounded sincere, however there was a smirk on his face. The smirk that he always has on his face when he's found an amusing target. Then he averted his attentions back to my eyes. His expressions softened up the moment his eyes landed back on mine. His smirk disappeared. I cleared my throat and broke the eye contact. I looked down at my palms as I rubbed the sweat against my jeans, "What do you want, Landon?" I asked, almost whispering. I felt his hand brushing against my right cheek, as he tilts my chin up to look back at him. His messy brown hair, his light blue eyes and his pink soft lips were just centimeters from mine. I felt his breath lingering on the upper tip of my lip. In a panic, I pressed my palms against his chest and push him off. He stumbled back with a surprised look on his face. "Aubrey." _ _ _ Landon Carthy is an arrogant boy, who knowns to have absolutely no care in the world. Making girls suffer feels great to him. But what happens when a new girl in town becomes one of his victims? Will she allow him to walk upon her like all the other girls do?

"I don't love you," I declare. He smiled at me, though his expression was tinged with pain, tears pooling in the depths of his eyes. "I knew it, you still love me so much." I was rendered speechless by his declaration, my efforts to conceal my emotions proving futile as he effortlessly deciphered the truth written in my eyes. "Say it, just once, that you love me, my Sweetheart. Just once, please," he pleaded. I finally surrendered, tears misting my own eyes as all rational thoughts scattered, "I love you. I never stopped loving you." "And I love you infinitely more," he declared, leaning closer towards my lips. I placed a trembling hand over his mouth, halting him in his tracks, and shook my head slowly. "We can't. It's wrong. We can't betray our partners." *** Two hearts, torn apart by the cruel hand of fate, find themselves face to face after 4 long years. "Nothing. You didn't do anything," I whispered, turning my gaze back to the movie and intending to end the conversation there. He reached for my face with his left hand which was nearest to me, and gently turned it back to face him. The feel of his hands on my face, brought a whole new feeling to me. "Then why?" I held his hand firmly and removed it from my face. "Consider it natural," I said. Sure, immense hatred for someone could be natural. Unconsciously, my eyes moved down to his lips then back to his eyes. "That's not true." "Yes, it is," I said, still whispering, and trying to pay attention to the movie. "No, it isn't." He was being so argumentative. "There's something you're not telling me and I'm not gonna force you but I'm just gonna let you know that if you thought I'd give up on you so easily, you thought wrong, violet." My brows instantly furrowed in confusion and I turned my full attention to him. Is this guy insane? "What are you talking about?" He laughed a little, then relaxed back on the chair. "I think I'm addicted to you." *~* Avery, a teenager with an immense hate for males, finds her hatred breaking into pieces when she gets teamed up with charming Ian on the basketball team. Ian, on the other hand, while trying to satisfy his thriving queries as to why Avery behaved the way she did, finds himself falling completely for her as her past and reasons for her behaviour unfolds before him.
