After Alex grows up on her dads horse ranch, trying to befriend the shy dairy farmer down the road, Shane, they finally start talking when he starts working on her dads horse ranch.
She has a huge crush on Shane after her and her boyfriend break up and he moves away, but nobody knows about her crush. Not even her dad, who has been her bestfriend since her mom passed away when she was 3.
Her dad has been there for her through everything, all her girl problems even. Can he help her with this boy problem since Shane's dad is his good friend, milk seller and helper with everything?
Once a Alex goes to a party with Shane, and finds her ex boyfriend there, will it change her feelings for Shane? Since her ex boyfriend John was her first love and they did everything together.
Little did she know, Shane has had a secret crush on her, for a long time. He was just to shy to talk to her about his feelings.

I feel like I hit a bit of a brick wall. I love this story, it was the first time I started writing for me and not for school. I was getting some major writer's block when it came to this story which felt weird because the creative juices had been flowing up to this point. I love this story and the characters and I finally realised that any writing I tried to force out would be really bad quality and that it could ruin the story. I do realise that this is very frustrating; I would be annoyed if someone did it to me. But I really think that in this case, less is more. I may come back to this story one day, but I make no promises. I feel like my time with Liam and Saskia has come to an end. They can enjoy their summer in peace!
