David has been falling into darkness since he was just eleven years old. With no living family, no real direction of what to do and arms full of scars, David constantly sleeps with girls, smokes, parties. Anything that will take his mind off of things, he will do. Candice Fulton has always been searching for that someone that will make her experience new things. She wants to get out there, hand in hand with someone, and explore what the world has to offer.

And when Candice's eyes land on David (in a not so compromising situation), he gives her a chance to do just that.

But with darkness consuming his mind more and more every day and deadly people entering his life, can he stay in tact with his humanity long enough for her to help him? Can she lead him out of the dark? Or will the dark earn yet another victim?
