Alexander Hamilton had a wonderful life as a child. He had a loving mother, a caring father and a protective big brother. Despite being poor, he was happy. That is, until he was 10 years old. His father became a drug addict and alcoholic and beat him. One day, James Hamilton killed Alexander's mother and brother. Alex survived, but James didn't know. Alex knew he had to flee.
4 years later, Alex is in highschool trying to live as normal of a life he could. What happens when James finds out Alex is alive? How will he protect his friends? How will he protect his love interest?

1789: Thomas Jefferson returns from France and meets Alexander Hamilton for the first time. It's hatred at first sight, but it will eventually change into something none of them would ever have imagined. Set in the 18th century, the two political enemies will have to overcome their own fears and to hide their love, while trying to build their new nation. Alex's heart stopped and he felt his blood running cold into his veins - what should he do? Should he nonchalantly walk out of that damned alley, or run away, or what? He was trying to think fast, but in the end he just stayed there, frozen on his spot by Jefferson's smug stare. For what it seemed to be a lifetime, Thomas's brown eyes held his gaze, tying Alexander's blue, wide eyes to his, reading his very soul like an open book. Then, he winked and turned to Burr again, acting as if nothing had happened. Alex abruptly retreated into the deep shadows of the alley, breathing hard and sweating as if he'd just had an epiphany. Loathing is Easier than Loving (Jamilton Soulmate AU)
Against all odds and expectations, Thomas and Alexander fuse. Both stubborn, hot tempered men are furious. Neither likes the other in any way shape or form. Spending every minute together just seems to be making the distasteful feelings worse. So what happens when something changes? What happens when one finds himself falling head over heels for the other? Are the feelings reciprocated? Will Thomas and Alexander be able to set aside their dislike for each other and get along? Fall in love? Be happy? Who knows! I certainly don't. This starts out as a cohesive story line and slowly fades into snapshots of their life together. Not really sure how this is going to turn out, honestly. Let's find out together! Lots of strong language and some suggestive wink wink kinda stuff but nothing explicit. The 'chapters' vary in length cause this is kind of a collection of short snapshots of their life so some are really short and others are longer and more detailed/meaningful.
