(Y/N) (L/N) is the daughter of a peasant family of the Fire Nation, and is a prodigy with anything she tries. When Fire Lord Azulon learns of her, he immediately appoints her highly among the ranks in the Fire Nation army.
The only perk of being such a young general, is that she gets to spend most of her time in the palace, studying and training the royal children. Her and Zuko become close friends quickly, bonding over their shared understanding of being treated like an outsider despite their gifts.
Then, (Y/N) is sent out to finally join the war and fight alongside General Iroh at Ba Seng Sei, where she betrays the Fire Nation by defending all of the innocent people they're attacking. She is taken prisoner and thrown in jail upon their return, only given a minute to speak with her friends before seemingly disappearing forever.
