(Y/N) (L/N) is the daughter of a peasant family of the Fire Nation, and is a prodigy with anything she tries. When Fire Lord Azulon learns of her, he immediately appoints her highly among the ranks in the Fire Nation army.
The only perk of being such a young general, is that she gets to spend most of her time in the palace, studying and training the royal children. Her and Zuko become close friends quickly, bonding over their shared understanding of being treated like an outsider despite their gifts.
Then, (Y/N) is sent out to finally join the war and fight alongside General Iroh at Ba Seng Sei, where she betrays the Fire Nation by defending all of the innocent people they're attacking. She is taken prisoner and thrown in jail upon their return, only given a minute to speak with her friends before seemingly disappearing forever.All Rights Reserved

Fire Lord Azulon was one of the very few humans aware that this folklore was more than a mere legend, although slightly altered, but factual. He sought out dragons and in one of his searches he found a Child of the Forest with a Fire Element by sheer unfortunate luck and after defeating her, he imprisoned her. (Y/N) was seen as the key object of victory within the Fire Nation and a driving force of power to their legacy and supremacy but to Zuko she was not a weapon of mass destruction or a spirit creature; she was so much more. As the Sozins Comet approaches and the Avatar Aang prepares to face Firelord Ozai with the help of his friends, it's clear that Zuko and (Y/N)'s paths are more far apart than they know. Book 1 or the Trilogy. This fanfic is set in the middle of the 100 year war, NONE OF THE CHARACTERS HAVE MET EACHOTHER. Sokka (15 years old) and Katara (14 years old) are brother and sister who both attend the Omashu Boarding school. &nbsp;Sokka's girlfriend is Suki, who is a Kyoshi Warrior who stays on&nbsp;Kyoshi Island. She is 15 years old. Zuko (16 years old) and Mai (16 years old) are girlfriend and boyfriend, Ty Lee and Azula (both 15) are best friends and Azula is Zuko's brother, Zuko and Azula's dad is Fire Lord Ozai. They also go the the Omashu Boarding School but are feared as are the rest of the firebenders. Aang (14 years old) is the Avatar and has mastered Air and Water but still has to master fire and has done a little work in earth bending, without anyone finding out who he really is. Sophia (14 years old) is 'The Legend' which is the partner to the Avatar, she can learn all the elements and contact the spirit world, she has mastered&nbsp;Fire and Air&nbsp;and has started earth but still needs to do Water. In this fanfic, they are going to a boarding school in Omashu to learn bending. The world has been Avatarless for 100 years, but what they don't know is that they are going to school with him. Avatar Aang was found in the Avatar State by a WaterBender in the Northern Tribe, Princess Yue. His partner Legend Sophia was found in the Legend State just off the coast of the Northern Air Temple. Together they must master the elements and defeat the Fire Lord before it is too late. Read to find out what happens!
