"Who are you?" he asked. "Maria. Maria Kindling."
Strange things happen when Percy arrives with a mysterious new demigod. What happens if it turns out that the goddess of the Hearth broke the promise of her maidenhood, and bore a child? Camp Half-Blood's resident emo kid, Nico di Angelo, feels a strange connection when he first sees Maria... a connection like shadows to burning flames. But why does Maria seem... off? Why do monsters stop at nothing to kill her? And, most of all, why do all aspects of heat, fire and flame seem to bend towards her? As if bowing to her? All these questions are muddled in Nico di Angelo's head. And he finds the answers... in her. This is the 1st installment in the Fiery Darkness series.

Black and White, Darkness and Light (Nico di Angelo x Fem! Reader) ''The loneliest people are the kindest. The saddest people are the brightest. The most damaged people are the wisest. All because they do not wish to see anyone else suffer the way they do.'' - Unknown Nico di Angelo is always represented as the darkness. Everyone at camp is scared by him because his father is the god of the underworld and represents death. He doesn't talk to anyone, doesn't play with anyone and doesn't want anything to do with anyone. He's afraid that people he cares about will disappear and hurt him. Just like the death of his sister that left a hole inside him. ''Our fate is that of a tragic love story. And yet, here I am, unable to let him go. Directing the both of us to our appalling end.'' Y/n L/n is described as the light, the magic and the happiness. But on the inside, she's just as broken as any other demigod. She's been living with the feeling of loss present in her, as if she is already dead. But she doesn't want anyone to see that, so she makes an effort to be happy and bright to everyone. She takes care and worries for everyone. Sometimes though, she loses control of her emotions and goes back to what she used to be: a monster! One day, while Y/n is helping her mother, she receives the visit of an old friend. He is pleading her to help the camp Half Blood. She immediately leaves her mother behind. Through fights, magic, tears, strategies and practices, she will find something new. Something that will appear only when a certain death boy is around. Is it love? Or, maybe, simply curiosity? They are just like darkness and light, two completely different people with a similar past. But we do say that opposites attract, right? This story will contain mature things such as sexual scenes, violence and swearing! Read at your own risks!

63 parts Complete Mature

"I suspect you'd do anything dangerous I suggested my son should do." "I'd drag him back from Tarturaus myself if I have to." ~~~~~~~ After stumbling upon Camp Half-blood mumbling, starved, and sick, (Y/n) Hale is pulled into the wicked world of being a demigod. The only problem is? She's not a demigod at all. (Y/n) is completely done with her first day after being bombarded with questions, the truth being revealed about her family, and being assigned a role in a dangerous prophecy. Being pulled into the dangers of a quest, (Y/n) must only push the memories of her horrific past away, but that might be the least of her worries. Leo Valdez has been at camp for three years since the battle with Gaia, and everything has gone downhill. Calypso has left, his friends are happy, the Camp has become repetitive, and all Leo can do is wallow in his turning memories and fight the thought of fleeing. But when a mysterious girl comes to Camp, he soon finds out that Camp is a lot more comforting than what awaits him.
