"When I was a little girl, my mother used to tell me I was special. That I was destined for something extraordinary. 
    I used to believe her, now I'm not so sure. Things have changed quite a lot since she said that."

    Charlie Denver never really had what you would call an ordinary life. Along with her older sister, Rebecca, she was born with multiple gifts. Over the course of her childhood and young adult life, her father, Dr. Isaac Denver, helped her to control her abilities. This continued until his death 3 months after her 20th birthday.
    
    Six years after her father's passing, Charlie is approached by Nick Fury of SHIELD to recruit her into the Avengers Initiative and help bring down Loki of Asgard, recovering the Tesseract in the process. Her biggest worry is whether or not she is truly up to the challenge of being an Avenger.
