Eve is not your average Superhero. She is snarky, agressive and hates The City with a passion, but living in The Slums for most of your life will do that to you.
When a personal mission takes a drastic turn for the worse, the young Pyrotechnic has to swallow her pride and re-enter The City and ask for help.
She absolutely, did not expect to be roped into joining a disfunctional team of City Mutants.
She is slightly amused by Erik, the technopath and his quirky habits, always happy to assist him in building something that will explode. Arron, the Earth Elemental is the only one as strong as she is, and therefore is useful; sometimes hitting something that hits back is the only stress release she can get. She even tolerates Taylor, the girl as fast as sound, her naive nature reminding her of someone she lost a long time ago.
But Eve definitely doesn't care. She doesn't have feelings, right?
However, she cannot abide Robyn, the teamleader gifted with many mental abilities. With them always at each other's throats, there is no way the team can function as a team.
When disaster strikes, will they buck up and work together to save both The City and The Slums from complete destruction?
Will Eve be able to let go of her painful past?
Who is the mysterious person tailing Eve?
Will Eve be able to cook soup without blowing up the kitchen?
