Nira is just a tea loving fire bender who just so happens to be the 2nd bridge between the spirit world and human world. When given a vision of what would happen to the world should the avatar fail to restore balance, she was given the task to do the spirits bidding, thus making sure everything falls into place. She will be a guide to the fire prince and an ally of the avatar.

The three of them would cross paths with Aang, Katara, and Sokka, but Makki would always have trouble reuniting with her siblings, so she would try her best to show Zuko the right path.
