(Y/n) had already become a hunter by the age of 16, however he doesn't have a specific field of work. He's considered a temp hunter, a hunter that does work for the government. He usually does his own thing, only taking a job when he's strapped for cash.
After taking a job to trail a mafia leader and dig up information on him, (y/n) encountered the phantom troupe for the first time. The encounter caused a fight to break out, and nearly killed (y/n), but as he escaped a certain member of the troupe caught his eye. Maybe it was because of his strength and speed, or maybe.......
....it was because of something else.
