Placed after the defeat of Fire Lord Ozai, the backlash of the experiences the group had are still present within them. 
However Some prefer to keep them hidden from the rest of their friends, sometimes out of concern for them or just pure stubbornness. 

But what happens when one of Aangs friends and now love of his life discovers his internal turmoil after a long day together. Would he bother pushing her away or would they actually talk about the Avatar's pain. 

(I don't own Avatar The Last Airbender. It is a fanfiction from the series. this story touches on stuff like PTSD, has a little bit of scary Imagery due to nightmares, and it's placed a year or so after the war. I'm not perfect but I'm trying, this is my first one-shot so bare with me. And Aang might be slightly ooc)
