(Currently being rewritten under a new name The Claimed) Everything changed when they came out of hiding, terror spread across the world as people began to question if our presidents and our global leaders lied to us and weren't from the same race. The Beasts blended in amongst us as if we were the same, except humans didn't have the same predatory instincts and we couldn't change our forms like they could. Soon after we learnt that we weren't the only species people began going missing. Some were unlucky and taken as something that the Beasts called a Mate that one word made fear spread throughout my veins, I would rather sell my soul than have one of them mutts chain me to them. Six months went by before the government, that was un-tainted by this vile race began to take action into their own hands contacting other countries and militaries causing the great war to happen, sending both my parents off to fight for our rights. Only one of them came back, two months was the longest we lasted before we were overpowered by them. Six years of living in this dysfunctional environment and my hatred had never dwindled. Some people still believed in god and had faith in him, I didn't know what I believed in but I prayed like everyone else that I would get through another day without hearing the soul crushing word 'Mate'. Join the Subreddit: "FLOANA" Join my Discord: https://discord.gg/dzapxK6f --- In a distant realm where magic thrives, ferocious beasts shake mountains and rivers with their mighty roars, and individuals wield superhuman strength capable of reshaping their surroundings. It is a magical world where the strong rules. But rampant corruption and chaos exist, where slavery, rape, murder, and discrimination against the weak were all but common. The magically superior people trample over the lesser unfortunate folks, using them as stepping stones and disposable assets. All hope for these downtrodden souls seems lost, but the wheels of fate have other plans for them. In a faraway ocean, one that is filled with demons and sea monsters, a great technological civilization suddenly appeared, one that came from a world that is only filled with chaos and destruction. This civilization became the heaven for people seeking a stable and peaceful life. The Earth rose and seas parted ways, and the environment had totally changed for its adaptability. Unfortunately, the inhabitants of this great technological civilization are all but manaless, arriving in a world where they are seen as inferior and as slaves. How will they react of finding themselves in a world where people can split mountains or bend the fabric of space, and where beings exist that even conventional weapons cannot defeat? How will they survive against deadly monsters, magical beasts, and superhumans that could threaten entire nations? And how will the other powers that exist in this world react to a powerful, advanced nation filled with a race they deem inferior? This is the story of one of the most powerful empires on Earth, and how it broke the balance of power and rose to the top.

It has been almost an year since wall Maria's destruction and everything is going into chaos. The government is planning to disband the survey corps because of their recent failed mission, corruption inside the walls is increasing, the economic stability is faltering and Levi sits in the middle of it all, left behind at the HQ because of his sprained ankle, and he hated every single hour of his temporary vacation. However, his little 'time off' changes when he meets three orphans from the Shiganshina district. Or a story about Levi navigating through his new life as an adoptive father of three troublesome children. Alternate universe: - Time line a little altered for the purpose of this fanfiction - Eren saves Mikasa when he is six and Mikasa is seven: he does not kill the kidnappers but rather injure them to buy time for him and Mikasa to run away. THEREFORE HE IS STILL AN INNOCENT BABY WHO HASN'T KILLED A SINGLE SOUL....yet - Armin and Eren are 7, and Mikasa is 8 when the colossal titan first appears - Eren is 7 when he is given the injection and like the anime/manga, he does not remember - Mr Hannes died saving Mikasa and Eren - Levi joined Survey Corps like an year or two before the fall of wall Maria in canon, so I will be just rolling with that - Levi is in his early twenties around the starting of this story - Levi squad was made after the fall of Wall Maria, the same year Levi 'adopts' Eren, Mikasa and Armin in this story About the writing: - written in past tense - anything like: $@#* or similar to this means the character is cursing - platonic relationships - Characters might get a little occ - Written from third person POV - I don't know the exact location of the survey corps HQ in the manga/anime, so I am just going to be using Trost as survey corps HQ's location I may add somethings as the story progresses

In a world where darkness reigns and monsters rule, humanity's survival depends on those with power. A decade ago, the Earth fell to horrific creatures-beasts that tore apart cities and destroyed what remained of civilization. In the aftermath, society fractured into four groups, each shaped by its beliefs and the supernatural abilities that arose in response to the terror. Angels heal the wounded but at the cost of their vitality. Demons wage war on the monsters, fueled by their thirst for human blood. Rare and feared devils wield blood magic that allows them to control the essence of life itself, but they must feast on monster blood to regain their strength. And then there are the God-powered-a mysterious few who possess elemental abilities that could hold the key to ending the chaos but are believed to be little more than a myth. Emery, a quiet college student, lives in the shadows of this broken world. Though she possesses the powers of a Devil, she keeps her identity hidden, unwilling to draw attention. Her days are spent in isolation, away from the chaos, with only her books and a few trusted friends to keep her company. But when whispers of a possible God-powered emerge, Emery is thrust into a deadly race. If she can find them, the union of the Devil and God could be the world's only chance at survival. But trust is scarce, and betrayal lurks in every corner. Demons are unpredictable, Angels are slowly losing their strength, and the Devils grow increasingly detached from humanity, fueled by the monster blood they consume. As the hunt for the last hope intensifies, Emery must navigate a world of shifting allegiances, hidden agendas, and monsters that are not always what they seem. In this dystopian future, where fear and power rule, Emery will have to decide if saving the world is worth the cost of her humanity.

Highest ranked- #10 in action 2/16/2017 A promotion. That's all I wanted. I didn't want to run for my life. I didn't want to be kidnapped. I didn't want to face death. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.

"No one knows where the Potentials are taken. If the prisoners resist, they turn up dead the very next day. They call it Project Frostbite." "They?" "Are all dead." ****** For over 6 months now, bodies have been turning up on the streets of New York. No one knows the cause of death, with the bodies unharmed, barring a single needle prick in the base of the victim's neck. Old or young, big or small; it didn't matter. No evidence of the killers, nothing. Tryston Waters lived a relatively good life. Granted he had an overprotective ex-military father and a policewoman for a mother, but still, he thought he was just a normal 19yr old boy with a normal job and normal life. But one day, when he reveals a powerful secret he didn't even know he harbored, Tryston's life will turn upside down. In 48 hours, he's dodging bullets, avoiding spies, and teaming up with a snarky assassin who doesn't know how to socialize. Firestorm was enjoying her time in New York. She was making big bucks in her "cleaning" business, and was having a blast fighting off the CEO's bodyguards who thought she was just a defenseless teenager. She doesn't have time to babysit an amateur pyrotechnic who is being chased by the very people she was running from. Tryston has no idea who is after him or why, and Firestorm seems to hold the answers. But just how close is she to Project Frostbite? After all, the enemy of your enemy is your friend. All in the name of war.
