What is this? Actually I can't still define it accurately, I guess it's a diary, a story, a moral... probably all of them together. Life is a learning process which never stops and this is a piece of mine I'd like to share. Falling in love it's a beautiful motion and awesome when you really find that person, but it doesn't feel so pleasant when you find it thousands of miles away. I would bet none of you have ever had that dream summer that all of us want.... that summer where you meet a boy on the beach and go surfing even though you don't know how to surf. That summer where you look him in the eyes while he runs his fingers through your hair. That summer where you skateboard along empty streets at sunset and accidentally steal candy from a grocery store. Well, I didn't get that, but I got pretty close to it. Because for the summer I went to an island in the middle of nowhere so my dad could start up a new one of his businesses in his chain of stores. I went to the beach. And I met Royce... Royce was two years older than me and had the prettiest purplish eyes and blonde hair. He was the most charismatic person I'd ever met. Then shortly after me and Royce's first appearance we met Jack and Koa. It was amazing and I loved every second of it, until I realized that I had fallen for Royce. And he seemed to fall for me too! A Little Story About A Man And A Woman On A Highway
This story went through several iterations. It was inspired by some traffic I was enduring while on the highway. The section I was at curved around this big hill, almost like a small mountain with grass covering the top. I had this idea I called Rearview Romance where two characters would communicate with each other by writing messages back and forth while stuck in a similar kind of traffic. In the original idea, it ended with them dancing on the hill, inspiring others to get out and just enjoy the day and life a little bit. Obviously, it's evolved since then, but this was the kernel for the original story. Also, the Gone But Not Forgotten section below are characters I had to cut from the story for various reasons. I didn't want them to be forgotten though. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the story!Concluida
