'Greetings to you too, fellow reader. You are about to experience something like none other. You have been chosen, with 149 others, to compete in this glorious competition. And as the first, you will receive great prizes. Well then, you must be at least curious to wonder about such a great competition. The contract is inside and ready for you. Well then, good luck!'

You received a letter three days ago. You cautiously open it.

If you had to participate in this seemingly harmless contest, or risk your family's death. What would you do? I know I made a choice, what about you?

"I already killed your mother, Cam." As the words left my enemy's mouth like a mocking sneer, I growled under my breath at the mention of my old name. Memories started to boil up that I had been wanting to squash deep into my heart. Bad memories. "As you can guess, I'm here to finish the job." He continued with that ever-present sinister smirk on his face. And in that moment, a sudden burst of confidence just appeared within me. Or blatant stupidity. 'I'll take either one.' I silently admitted to myself. I rolled my eyes at his so-called 'threat', not really intimidated in the least. "Yeah, like that went so well the first time. The first time, you fucked up enough to get caught by the police." I pointed out. "The second time, your grown-ass men got their asses handed to them by two teenagers." I snorted at him. "Your odds aren't looking too good here, Berti." ~•~ Losing her father? Lovely. Getting in a car accident with her aunt, uncle, and cousin and being the sole survivor? Fantastic. Losing her mother because a deranged psychopath holds a grudge even better than The Grinch? Amazing. Being ostracized from her own family save from her paternal grandparents, and getting the blame for her mother's death? Cherry on top of the cake. Having to make sure three idiotic twats don't get themselves killed because they couldn't mind their own bloody business? Bloody hell, that's an entire ice cream cake with ten pounds of gummy bears. ~•~ Join Grace Stanton as she faces her demons and the demons of her past all while trying not to commit murder against her three new friends. Fun times. (First book in the Gilded series) ~•~ [#1 Streetracer - 4/21/21] [#1 Gangs - 9/16/21] [#1 Boxer - 9/12/21] [#1 Fighter - 12/11/21] [#2 Boxing - 9/3/21] [#1 Girlpower - 2/12/21]

Will they win, or will their hunger take over? 18 objects. 12 stomachs to feed. 1 "prize." No food. Many characters from ONE including favorites such as Liam, Bryce, and Amelia fight to survive in a competition created by Airy, a competition that contains no food, a competition that forces them to commit to the lifestyle of something they never wanted to be. The question is... Will they win? Or will their hunger take over? COMIC EDITION: The comic is written and drawn on Webtoon, and here too! :) CONFIRMATION: One but I add hunger and also more injures. Also perma-death after a certain point. perma-death means that they can still use the radio but airy cannot respawn anybody. To explain how each batch gets hungry: Batch 3 does not need to eat, batch 2 needs to eat only once every- like- 3 months, batch 1 needs to eat like a human does. FORMATION OF THE IDEA: I was talking about ONE to someone when I realized, do they have to eat in ONE? There are scenes where Liam is eating breakfast and Charlotte is cutting carrots but it's never said if they NEED to eat. They're seen on the plane without any food for over seven months. So I got the brilliant idea to make them get hungry and likely have some characters resort to other sources of food! This is where that one question came from on this quiz that I made: https://uquiz.com/quiz/9bsREU/what-hfjone-character-are-you-most-like-not-accurate WARNINGS: hfjone spoilers, starvation, cannibalism, blood, gore, vomiting, death, infections, poison, hallucinations, memory loss, one-sided relationships, derealisation, hanging, knives, su!c!d3, depression, mild language (Most of the bloody and gory stuff is explained in great detail, oops) And I now realize that most people cannot read my story becuase of the warnings, sorry about that! Story by me One by cheesy hfj BEGAN: September 5th, 2022 ENDED: October 21, 2022 fun fact: most parts here are re-written versions of one i wrote a week previously!!
Book of Contests (2024) by SeraDrake
180 parts Complete
To keep myself from losing track of: all the contests I've entered, all the contests I've volunteered myself as a judge (or let myself be voluntold into judging), all the books I've had to read as a contestant or as a judge, all the deadlines, and all the other important stuff, I've decided to create a book that registers all these things in a somewhat organized fashion. I can't remember who advised me to do that, but whoever you are, and there are probably several of you, thank you. I've been reading that it's extremely common for contests to be a bit sluggish with follow-up if a person wins a major prize and gets graphics and shout-outs, so I'll use this book to keep track of that, too. I had no idea so many people would be adding my personal convenience book to their own bookshelves, let alone voting for chapters - if my book of contests is useful to other people, that makes me happy. Very happy. However, I feel I must reiterate that although other people are welcome to browse my public contest logs and look for contests, look for information about details of contests (i.e. you want me to pour you some tea), etc, these contest logs are primarily for my own use. I enter so many contests that I can't keep track of them without a log. I forget important details, too, including things like "Note to self: You do not get along with this contest host, best not participate in their contests." This was never meant to be an "expose" book. I'm not exposing anybody. Contests are matters of public record, as are any comments made in the contest books. I'm just a ditz who needs a written log to keep track of everything. I would lose my head if it wasn't attached to my shoulders.
