(This was a story where I tried too hard to be smart, it came out as forced and unentertaining. While it was also fun to write, I strongly believe that the absurdity of the original edition was more entertaining.) Four friends that were never used in another book and totally are original are violently thrown into the end of the world. With the military nowhere to be seen, they venture out into the destroyed open world, hoping to find more helpful allies, not foes. This version of Apocalyptia has been improved and modified and will be heading into a more realistic direction than the original one I've written, this time with the help of my friends, I'll make it a more satisfying book to read. The dead have invaded Earth, the social grid has been destroyed. Anarchy runs hand in hand with chaos and destruction. Thorne's town has been overrun, and she has been forced to go on a road trip that may never end. Along with her best friend, and other accumulated survivors their path has crossed with, they take a journey across the country to get away from the terror of the dead -- and the living. Warning: this is the old version (which you hopefully realized by the title). The new version is very much different, much more thought out and outlined. It hasn't been posted yet (still needs to be written and then lots of revising). I'd say enjoy this version while it's still posted... but honestly, it's rather rocky as I sort of jumped into the book without a plan, clear plot, or anything. If you'd like to know what's going to be new skip to the last part in the book labeled New Version Sneak peek.
