It's three years after the events of the finale of Avatar: The Last Airbender. Iroh is temporarily closing his tea shop, the Jasmine Dragon, to take a well deserved two month holiday (much to the despair of his regular customers). He wants to travel the world. To see the Northern and Southern water tribes. To catch up with the members of the White Lotus. To visit his beloved nephew in the Fire Kingdom. To meet the ancient, wise lion turtle that Aang spoke of. But to do all this he'll need to borrow the Avatar's sky bison. Can he convince Aang that he'll make a suitable temporary guardian for precious Appa?
This will be a happy fluffy story mainly featuring my two favourite Avatar characters: Iroh and Appa.
Don't expect regular updates - my main project at the moment is a Star Wars Doctor Who crossover which I try to update once every couple of days, so I'll only be working on this story when I'm ahead of schedule on the other one. I promise to give this story my full attention once I've finished the other one, though.
P.S. I haven't yet seen the Avatar movie or the Legend of Kora series, so I'm sorry if some of the stuff in my story is inconsistent with those.

The Avatar's Angel (Avatar the Last Airbender: Book 3: Fire)
COMPLETED! 'Aya's my angel and I'm never letting her go.' After seeing Azula strike Aang with her lightening, Aya's entire world fell into a black hole. She thought she lost her Avatar, her Aang, but after a miracle happened, Aang was brought back and she felt whole again. The whole world believes that the Avatar is gone and the Fire Nation has conquered Ba Sing Se, but thanks to Aya he is alive. Aya has discovered her true Fire Angel power and has full control over it, along with getting her Fire Wings. Ruka has finally found her long lost daughter and they were reunited after years of being apart. Aya felt joy and relief when she hugged her mother for the first time. Team Avatar has set foot in Fire Nation territory and are in disguise as typical Fire Nation citizens so they can put the invasion plan in action when the solar eclipse arrives. The team has to stay hidden incase someone sees Aang's arrows or Aya's wings. It won't be easy, but things have never been easy for Team Avatar. Aang believes he has to save the world on his own, but he isn't alone, he has his Fire Angel at his side. The Avatar and Fire Angel are not only destined to be with each other but are destined to save the world together. Allies will become enemies and enemies will become allies. With in desperate need of a firebending teacher, Zuko throws away the need of capturing the Avatar and instead assists him in saving the world and teaching him firebending. After almost a year of traveling, fighting, friendship, love, anger, and heartbreak it's time for Team Avatar to save the world and bring peace back to it. Fire Lord Ozai discovered her Air Nomad origins and he imprisoned her for three years. She got to meet the royal family before it was broken. When she managed to escape she ran away to the Water Tribes. She had been there ever since, protecting the defenseless people from the ruthless Fire benders as well as her bending. A new Air Bender appears, and it didn't take long when a Fire Navy ship arrived the deserted icy lands of the South. The Lady Xia
Living the disgrace of her grandfather, Xia's parents send her to the Fire Nation Captial to try to win favor with the Fire Lord. Little Xia is meant as the most recent playmate for Princess Azula, a very dangerous job. However, Xia matched Azula in her Firebending abilities, and the two become friendly rivals. Xia became famous for her yellow fire, not nearly as dangerously hot as Azula's blue fire, but a warmth that fuels Xia's will. Though Xia was close friends with Azula, Mai, and Ty Lee, she volunteered to accompany Zuko and Iroh on their hunt to find the Avatar. Calm and patient Xia became Zuko's new sparring partner, and Iroh's favorite Pai Sho challenger. "How can you be drinking tea at a time like this?!" Zuko demanded.
