"Mmmm.." I stopped for a while and stayed quiet.

 I hope I'm just imagining the things that I'm hearing right now.

 "Mmmm..!!" I heard it again after a few seconds of silence. It's coming from the empty abandoned room inside our basement. 

"We have a room on our basement? That's pretty unusual ", I thought to myself.

"Mmmm..!"

"Who's there?", I slowly walked towards the door trying not to make any noise as my heart pounded faster and faster from my chest every second that passes. 

"H..hello?", I stuttered nervously as my cold sweat started coming out from my body. I breathe deeply before opening the door to calm myself. 

"Don't scare yourself Stella,It's just a rat.",I said to myself. 

I grabbed the door knob and slowly opened the door and shockingly saw my neighborhood, Amber, She's tied up with chains and her mouth covered with some cloth.Her hair is so messy and her skin is so pale which made her wounds and red- violet bruises more visible.
 She looks like she's gonna faint anytime soon. 

Why in the world are you in our basement? How can she be here? She's been missing for almost a year now. I thought she was dead. 

Amber moaned and cried looking at me.  I run towards her to remove the cloth that's covering up her mouth but I stopped when I heard some footsteps coming from outside.

I hid myself behind the big dusty boxes filled with broken glasses.

Why are these things even in here?

I peaked through the hole and saw my older sister. She grinned creepily on Amber while holding a knife. 

"You should have stayed away when you had the chance!".
With a glimpse Serena, my older sister threw the knife on Amber and it slide up on her leg causing it to bleed. 
Serena laughed and gave Amber a creepy smile before leaving the basement. 

She's crazy. My sister is crazy!
