In the modern era of the world, the myths about half human and half fish, better known as Mermaids, have been identified only as a kind of children's story. But in the depths of the ocean there are mysterious inhabitants that guard the ocean land; in the northern part, a royal mermaid named Nareen rules her kind.

They live quietly for many years far from the world of humankind, but a tragedy will motivate Princess Nareen to traverse the human world. She needs to venture into the dangerous world of humankind to find her twin sister, Sonata, who has been captured by the humans.

But in the beginning of her journey, she met four men, a popular boy group who's currently stranded on the island of Vertrock as a punishment. Since it was Nareen's first time on land as a human being, she doesn't have any idea whether she should trust them or not.

She hides in her dreams where she can perform and play music to her heart's desire with Yuan.
