Clementine Bell has been dealt a rough hand. After losing her mother as a child, a messy post-university break up, with no career lined up, no money and no backup plan, she returns to her seaside home in Coral Cove. The seaside town is what she needs to set her head straight and forget about her problems for the summer and who knows, she might even rekindle her teenage romance with her best friend and old flame, Elliot.
Clemmie throws herself into working in her Grandmother's beach cafe, surrounded by old people and the occasional holiday-maker. It seems like it's going to be a quiet summer, until one day, Harry walks in.
