Lily Crepsley is sixteen years old, however she's been sixteen for two years because she's a vampire. She's also a performer at the Cirque du Freak along with her father Larten Crepsley. At her high school she makes friends with Darren Shan and Steve Leonard, she confides in them one of her secrets,  but they don't know she's a vampire. Lily goes on a journey of friendship, love, betrayal, and being happy with ones self.
