The Professors Memory

The professors memory is a tale about a man who is more than what he seems. To humans they see a typical professor and nothing more than another human, but the dark beings that inhabit the earth see much more. Professor Deltrith is a shape shifter, the son of a king and the heir to the throne of a world of his own kind. He has no desire to be in his own world, preferring to live among the humans and vampires in the world known as Elm'nyth. His days of wild adventures and an excessively opulent life is gone now that his favoured family member has settled down into married life. He looks upon his fallen wing man and sees a life that he wants for himself, the love of a good woman. But in one fateful moment, in a time that he can not remember, he altered his life. The love he desires is within his grasp but magic wielded by that moment blocks his memory of her. His absence in her life upsets her, creating a broken woman who is unsure of her true feelings for him. He can not turn away from their bond, he must find a path back to her and their love must prevail or he will never find love again. But how can he love someone when he has no memory of her?
