Far way on an island with vast mountains there is a peaceful clan called the Shizuya clan, meaning quiet night. A young boy by the name kagerou, meaning shadow wolf, is the heir to this pack/clan. But when his home is attacked during his coming of age ceremony,  his father and mother hide him away to protect him while they fight.
