Hanahaki is a disease that infects a person with a one-sided love. A flower grows from the lungs, coughing petals of flowers, killing them slowly.
Hanabi didn't care. Even after she was badly infected with it, she let the beautiful red flowers destroy her lungs, thinking it was the deserved end she received, being unable to let her feelings go after saying so. It's a secret she never planned on telling.
But it's very obvious to Hanzo. Her figure somewhat always catch his gaze. Her pale face and skin bones body. She's about to break any moment.

A story per requested by one of my readers :) i already have a faint imagination on how it should go. Hopefully, it's not going to be bland (since i'm still learing) and will stir you feelings like how all story should. Be warned, i will update slow. Enjoy.

Hanahaki is a disease where the affected coughs up the favorite flowers of the one they love, left untreated it can kill in a matter of weeks, you can get a surgery to remove the root, however you will forget everything about your loved one, or never feel love again. More commonly people let it kill them, but this can be avoided by confessing, however if you get rejected, the condition will progress faster and surgery will no longer be an option. The cough will start with a few petals, then progress to the entire flower head, after that a bit of blood, and finally, the entire flower with the stem and blood. If it gets to that point, you likely have days to live. The condition progresses faster or slower depending on how long the love has existed and how strong it is. Some of the warning signs for the disease are high unexplainable fevers along with harsh coughing fits and trouble breathing, these symptoms only occur for the worst cases however, so not everyone will have warning signs. "Great" Asahi sighed with his head in his hands. "Just what I needed." When Asahi gets sick and doesn't recover it's up to him and a few others to figure out what to do before it's too late, only, he has a secret he doesn't want them to know. Some say secrets can kill, but this time it's far too real. (Disclaimer!!! Idk if this will end up being finished but i have the plot mapped out, so if it does get abandoned, i can tell you about the ending if you want.)
