Crescent Bleidd is the definition of a lone wolf. Grown up in various foster homes, she never had any true friends or a family. She wandered around, waiting to turn eighteen and finally being able to go wherever she wanted.
For years Crescent walked around with a secret. Every winter season she would disappear for months on end, only to reappear when spring came around. No one knew why, except Crescent herself.
Finally, when she turned eighteen, she gets information about her parents and people who might be able to help her. They live on a peaceful island and Crescent sets off to go there. Once there she hoped to find a nice place she could finally call home, only for more secrets to come on her path. And the biggest secret revolves around her.
Two packs, or clans rather, live on opposite ends of the island, claiming it is theirs. Their rivalry is big and creates unpleasant tension on the island. And Crescent ends up right smack in the middle of it.
