In a world filled with demons, vampires, werewolves, magic users and Aliens, nothing even surprises anyone anymore. Especially the tiny army filled with teens called "skywatchers." They once had been the top army of Phobos. Then a empire destroyed every little bit of it leaving few survivors before going back into hiding.
Amongst the few survivors, Rahm Kota was the only one who stayed with the army. So he had become the main general and climbed through the ranks over night. Yet, he remained one of the only living soldiers until all of the planet earth's citizens began traveling space. Suddenly he had different ranks and many generals but, unfortunately for him they're all either orphaned children that had no where else to go or disowned small kids trying to get by or people who want to relax and see the world.
Then to add to that he has been tasked with show at least 12 'gifted' teens how to become his successors. Which would be fine if they didn't keep quoting memes all the time with one of his top generals. Things only get worse when he's asked to take in another gifted teen, who seems to add a death wish. And suddenly he begins question why he even took this job.
Suddenly he finds himself looking up retirement plans when an old empire shows its head once again. And with all other armies turning a blind eye it is up to his team to find out how to stop them.
Can the skywatcher protect the galaxy from the evil that is the Galactic empire? Will Deku be able to find his missing parents? Will Ezra be able to master light shade skills? Will Steven eve get therapy? Will Zeldris ever get to go skinny dipping in a lake? Will polaris ever find out how to quiet down?

It's been five years since Kai's life was completely turned upside down, but he is extremely grateful for the things that have happened. The deaths not included, things have changed for the better. Kai feels that if those men and Thorn hadn't showed up at his home, Abby wouldn't be his girlfriend, Chase wouldn't be his best friend, Shintaro wouldn't be an amazing "therapist" (as Chase calls it) to Kai, Linda wouldn't be like a mother to him, Gabriel wouldn't be the funny-in-his-own-antisocial-way friend (he had his own home in the town, so he often visited), and Kai wouldn't be as close to his father has he is now. Kai is actually enjoying his new life in this strange town. The village is "ruled" by a young woman named Ruby, and everyone there adores her for being such a great leader. Kai has only met her once or twice, but she seems very nice. But there is something prickling at the back of Kai's mind, and it unsettles him greatly. Ever since Moon vanished after killing Luke, she hasn't been spotted anywhere. Kai often wonders if she is somewhere far from where they are now, planning her next attack. When a series of strange events start happening around the town, Kai is certain that Moon is back and playing her game with them. In a way, he is right. But there are many things that he is also wrong about. During the midst of it all, Shintaro gets captured, sending Kai down a path of despair and hopelessness. He feels responsible for getting Shintaro back, but he doesn't know what he's up against. Thankfully, his friends don't let him do it by himself. As always, they have his back. And soon, new friends are there behind him, too. The group finds that Moon is behind all of this, but she isn't doing it for herself. She has Shintaro for a certain reason, and the friends are soon to find out what is at stake. The lives of others, including loved ones.

Csilla, Homeworld of the Chiss, has been invaded by a ruthless Grysk army, wanting nothing more than the complete destruction of the honourable race. Trapped on the hostile and frozen words of Csilla with no escape and nowhere near the army they need to hold back the ruthless invaders, Ezra and Sabine must struggle to hold back the invading army long enough for civilian escapees to evacuate the planet. However, as Ezra struggles to lead the fight with his resistance forces, he must try and solve the mystery of a vision he received during a recent battle before the Grysk army can overtake the Chiss capital, fearing that more than just his life depends on it. As he struggles to defend the Chiss, Ezra realises that there is more than an army headed for him and Sabine, but a dangerous new enemy, who has been longing for the chance to kill him, for he took something dear from this unknown adversary, and he wants revenge...
