When Golden Girl Aubrey Peyton disappeared without a trace the night of the summer kick off party, the whole town was shaken with fear. No one claimed to see anything out of the ordinary, but everyone began to point fingers.
Except one person.
Aubrey's ex-boyfriend, Tyler Brookfield was there that night. He left her alone. He heard the fear in Aubrey's voice. He watched Aubrey's sister breakdown into sobs. And he was filled with guilt.
He could only remember parts of that night, but it was more than what anyone else saw. Unless there was someone else there that night, hiding in the shadows. Telling the truth meant uncovering a web of secrets that would destroy the seemingly good people of Ridge Lake.
The town has secrets that need to stay a secret. And as pieces of the puzzle started falling into place, the people Aubrey trusted most were at the center of it. As much as they wanted to find out what happened last summer, digging into Aubrey's disappearance could be the most dangerous thing they ever did.
Even if that meant unravelling every secret this town has.
