WELL, THE FIRST BOOK ANYWAYS.....

Lavenderkit lives a happy life, secured between her family; her mother Nettleleaf, her father Darkfrost, and her brother Onyxkit; and her friends; Rosekit, Oleanderkit, and Featherkit.

soon she hears of a prophecy that she has to become a medicine cat, and soon they become apprentices, forcing her to make a choice.

Onyxpaw opted to be leader one day, but Lavenderpaw had to be by his side... as his medicine cat.

Featherpaw wants this as well, partially training in herbs with the current medicine cat, Rippledawn, and partially training with a warrior mentor.

Rosepaw, she tells Lavenderpaw, has a crush on Onyxpaw, so she becomes a warrior also.
Oleanderpaw does the same.

But soon Featherpaw realizes that if she became a medicine cat - caring for her Classmates, watching for signs from StarClan - all the things she looks forward to - she will never be able to take a mate and have a litter of kits. so Featherpaw stops training as a medicine cat, focusing only on her warrior apprentice duties.

soon they are all made warriors (except for Lavenderpaw; she is now a med cat ), as Lavenderwish, Featherpool, Onyxpounce, Oleandergaze, and Rosecloud.

Rosecloud gets what she wishes for when Onyxpounce asks to be her mate, and he soon is made Deputy.

all the while Lavenderwish is thinking, I WAS PROPHESIED THIS WAY.
