A novelization of the video game State of Decay. Marcus Campbell and Ed Jones have been best friends for nearly two decades now. They live their lives of boring office jobs, fast food, and video games in the big city, but once a year, every year, they completely isolate themselves deep in the woods for two weeks. Their goal: total relaxation. Fishing, camping, drinking. Nothing but the two of them and a lot of good times. Their choice location is Trumbull Valley, home to three small towns and a lot of beautiful countryside. (Completed) A small town in Nevada has a problem: Overnight, they have been overrun by a zombie plague that has wiped out all the citizens. A group of Cowboys set to work to make sure the outbreak doesn't get farther than the town. Can they do it? Or will they only be prey to something bigger than Nevada itself? But when push comes to shove, when you're barely alive and should be dead, the people who you don't know may just save you. Surviving without enemies is hard enough. But when the past comes back to haunt and enemies come to fight, the apocalypse may just become almost impossible to survive. Brains and brawn may not be enough. It takes heart to make it day to day. They knew it would be hard. They didn't know it would be next to impossible to survive. This is a story my friend and I wrote together. It took us about a year to complete.
