Hanahaki disease. The disease where unrequited love (one-sided love) causes coughing up blood and flowers from your lungs (sometimes just flowers and petals) the deeper your love for them the worse the flowers become. Hoshizora no me disease. The disease is similar to the Hanahaki disease but affects the eyes instead of the lungs. The person who's love is not returned contracts a disease where they cry so much it starts to blur their vision and freckles appear on their face. Star shaped freckles which glow at night. Eventually the disease travels to the brain and kills the host.

ᴅɪᴀɴᴇ + ᴋɪɴɢ/ʜᴀʀʟᴇQᴜɪɴ The fairy king, the ruler, and guardian of the fairy realm is said to be immune to the disease. He and his little sister are invulnerable to any type of illness that could be caused by plants. However, that all changes when the fairy king finds himself coughing up pink gerbera daisies. ʜᴀɴᴀʜᴀᴋɪ ꜱᴇʀɪᴇꜱ: 1/3 The Hanahaki disease is an illness born from unrequited love, where the victim's throat will fill up with flowers and they will then begin to throw and cough up petals (sometimes even whole flowers). There are only two ways to cure the disease; it is if the person they love returns the feelings or it can be removed through surgery, though the feelings disappear along with the flowers. If neither of the options is chosen or made, the victim's lungs will fill up with flowers and eventually suffocate them. Killing them.
