When Kayli Winchester was 16, she met 5 guys who she fell in love with. Shortly after, she made choice to leave them behind to save her brother, Wil, from being separated in foster care, and to also save her self from the inevitable heartbreak.

A year later, her and Wil are surviving but not really living. One day, they are found by a Mr. William Coaltar, who claims to be their legal guardian. As their life is once again uprooted, the Winchester's find themselves in back in Charleston, South Carolina.
