"And who are you?" The Frost Giant King, Laufey asked.
I cleared my throat and puffed my chest out. "I am (Y/N) Ísveig, future wife of Thor Odinson, and daughter of Sigrid the Beauty and Calder Nord. You captured my mother and cursed her. You said the next child she would conceive would be given horrible powers."
"You believe we cursed you?" The king questioned, an amused smile playing on his lips. "No, it was your mother who cursed one of us, and lied to you about it. It seems all Asgardians do is lie."
I felt all the air leave my body. How could that be? My mother lied? I wasn't cursed? Then how did I have the powers of a Frost Giant?
"My father is not Calder Nord."

(Y/N) Ísveig had grown up her whole life with the famous sons of Odin, Thor and Loki. Her mother was one of Frigga's oldest friends, and so they believed it would've been a good choice to connect their families together.
Through forced marriage.
(Y/N) had never questioned her mother, never rebelled. Training and her 'destiny' to be queen was the only thing she knew, and she didn't even know where to begin in changing that.
Everything came crashing down after a small trip to Jotunheim. She began to question which of the following statements she'd believed for so long were false:
1. She had been cursed by Giants
2.She was loved by Thor
3. She was fated to rule Asgard alongside him
