A Beastars AU wherein Melon isn't the villain but more of an anti-hero instead. His mom is still mentally unstable and his dad skipped out on them before he was even born. But he finds a friend that inspires him to be more than what society perceives him to be: a mistake.
Despite of all the prejudice he faces from animal society for being a hybrid between a herbivore and carnivore, he strives to be better than what they say he will always be. But that doesn't stop him from causing a little bit of discord from time to time.
Beastars and the canon characters that will be mentioned here (like Melon, his mom, etc.) belong to Paru Itagaki.
