"Sometimes the road of life takes an unexpected turn and you have no choice but to follow it, and end up where you are meant to be."
Fate.
Fate is the same as love.
It brings people together, it splits people apart. It heals hearts but it also shatters them.
But there's on thing different.
Fate is a road that has one ending, the place you are meant to be.
Love is a twisting river.
A river can dry out. It can split. It can run into another river. It can run thin, and you loose it.
And you don't need to love where you're mean to be, because Fate doesn't ask you what you love.
This book starts with fate.
And it stayed until the end.

Waking up face down in mud sucks any day of the week. But coming around in the sludge of a strange realm...? Well, that just redefines a bad day altogether. Trapped in an unfamiliar world, sixteen-year-old Quinn is frustrated that none of the strange Tree People appreciate his urgency to get back home to earth. Now he is faced with a choice that could change the course of his life: escape and find his own way home, or stay and help them find the cause of the poison ravishing their world. When the mind-reader unlocks one of the ancient mysteries of the Tree People it points to the only way of saving them from annihilation: they have to find the Power of Light. What exactly that means, the mind-reader doesn't reveal, but his next warning comes as a shock to all present: finding the mysterious Power of Light can only be done with the help of the dangerous enemy tribe whom they once called family. Quinn soon finds himself a little more entangled in the lives of these gifted beings than he'd care to be. Especially after meeting Jazz: the feisty girl from his world who seems to be a regular visitor to the world of Zoay. To Quinn's constant frustration, the aqua-eyed pixie makes it clear that she's not there to make friends. On their journey they'll brave bizarre encounters in dangerous alien forests, while sacrificing pride and will for the survival of all. Along the way Quinn finds more than he ever thought to seek: purpose, fulfillment and love. When the Power of Light is finally found a devastating discovery is made: if all of Zoay-including their enemy-want to live and prosper, one must be willing to sacrifice their life.

Another sequel to Hannah: and her happy harem, after the original sequel Light in a storm. However, neither is required reading to enjoy this story. Just adds extra depth and dimension to some characters if you have read the previous stories about the Greenrivers family. August and Alex are the beloved twin wolf Greenrivers brothers. Their uncle Kyle has assumed the role of future Beta for the pack, leaving the two of them free to explore and sow endless wild oats across the continent as they explore on their motorcycles every road possible. Raised in a prosperous pack, in a loving large family, Alex and August have never wanted for anything in their entire lives. Even though they are already twenty four, neither brother is feeling the pressing need to find their mates anytime soon. Their parents had come together when the timing was exactly right, a love story for the ages, Alex and August were certain everything would just fall into place when it was right. Neither were expecting what the moon goddess had in store for them. Nor were the sheltered, loved, and privileged brothers prepared to have a mate that came with a mountain of baggage from a traumatic past. They were even less prepared when she ran from them after they find her. This was not how they imagined their love story beginning.
