Ascending (Sequel to Rock Bottom)
It's been two years since the Danzo incident. Two whole years since the members of Team 7 have had any interaction with one another. But when an emergency letter is sent from Suna informing them that Gaara has been kidnapped, they are quick to return to the Sand village to save their Kage.
One thing leads to another, and soon, Naruto, Sakura, Sasuke and Kakashi are tasked with stopping an organization bent on achieving world peace.
But it's becoming increasingly clear that thing's aren't the same as they were before, so how can Team 7 unite the Shinobi Nation against a growing threat when they all seem to be drifting farther apart from each other?

This is the sequel to Rock Bottom, so if you haven't read that then I recommend that you do, but it's not completely necessary because I'll be posting a recap
