Daisy never acted normal, well maybe if she was an old Skywing or Nightwing it would've seemed normal, but she was just a small Rainwing. Her life used to run smoothly, she would sneak out while her village was participating in sun time to see her beloved scavengers. One day she meets Timeturner, a regular Nightwing with a love of scavengers stronger that her own. But that day wasn't all good, the first scavenger goes missing and a fire appeared and grew with no need of wood, only rocks. More scavengers soon go missing, the same thing happening each time one disappears. Daisy and Timeturner try to figure out why they're disappearing, but its like the earth is conspiring against them. Will they ever find what it taking the friendly scavengers of the rainforest? And will they be able to stop it if they do?

After ten years, when the war of the SandWing Succession has finally come to a glorious ending and the Eye of Onyx has crowned Thorn as their new SandWing queen, Soaren, the surviving SkyWing, has been having trouble living in the pit for ten years all his life. He wanted to see the world. He wanted the sun to finally touch his scales. He wanted to spread his wings freely. His very, very large wings. When his IceWing guardian was about to die of SandWing venom, Soaren was determined to save him by travelling to the Rainforest, where he heard he could retrieve the cure for the venom. It would have been easier than going to the Sand Kingdom. But as Soaren flies through his journey, he meets a peculiar dragon as he passes the Sea Kingdom and some interesting dragons while he stays in the Rainforest. However, a strange occurrence happened at Jade Mountain. He and a few friends try to solve the mystery, gathering up all the clues while the SkyWing wonders if he should go back to his guardian. Soaren had hid his true identity as the 'lost' SkyWing, but he needs to eventually open up. With the NightWings in the Rainforest, more mind readers will be born and they'll find out who he is. But worst of all, he'll have to face something far more terrible than anyone could have imagined... Death follows, with a great danger lurking above them. Will Nightfighter and his friends survive? Or will they die trying? If you haven't read the books yet, this might be a bit confusing because this takes place first in book six and takes some information from book 7. Most of this book was made before book 9: "Talons of Power" so I might get some stuff wrong. Wings Of Fire and it's characters does not belong to me but to Tui T. Sutherland, all rights are hers.
