Meliodas once had a happy life. Before he met the goddess Elizabeth he fell for a goddess named savannah. He loved her but she died at the hands of his brother as an order from the demon king. He then fought the demon king and deity as to let savannah not die in vein. The demon king then gave savannah's dead body to him and said "if you want her back then have her but you must find a way to revive her in 1,000 years when the time is up she is gone forever and her soul will be mine"
